Taxi Project – launched November 2009

Last month we launched Taxi Project, a social marketing campaign designed to increase the industry’s profile, build positive public perception and raise money for charity. It has been a highly successful campaign that strategically positions the industry and involves all the major taxi players including drivers, taxi companies/operators, peak bodies and government departments. The campaign was launched by the Hon. Jeff Kennett AC at Federation Square with 10,000 copies of the book, Taxi, The Inside Story now available in bookshops Australia-wide. A website tells driver stories and images – the exhibition of photographs to be shown at Federation Square in March next year. The initiative sparked strong media attention and reached millions of Victorians through print and radio exposure.
